Right-click on the folder you want to change the permissions of and select CHMOD...
The window that pops up should look like this.
Make the window look like this (under Public permissions check the boxes Read and Execute).
2) Changing File Permissions
Follow the same steps as in part 1 above. Right-click on the file you want to change the permissions of and select CHMOD.... For the window that pops up make it look like this (under Public permissions check the box Read)
This should complete everything. Continue these steps for other folders and files that you need to make viewable on your web site.
